A casual guild for the long road: dungeons at every level, a fire that is always lit, and raids we clear on our own clock.
IX new dungeons between the first campfire and the last.
Door I of IX, level XIII to XVIII. Beneath Ironforge. The dwarves buried their kings deep. Something is knocking from the inside.
Door II of IX, level XV to XX. Above the Undercity. A throne room that remembers the bell. The Forsaken do not go upstairs.
Door III of IX, level XXIV to XXIX. Whelgar's Excavation. The archaeologists found what they were looking for. That was the mistake.
Door IV of IX, level XXVIII to XXXIII. Alterac Mountains. A city of wizards under a violet dome. Most of them are still inside.
Door V of IX, level XXXV to XL. Stranglethorn Vale. The sea took it. The sea has been careless with what it took.
Door VI of IX, level XL to XLV. Riverglades. An ogre fortress the size of a zone. The chanting starts after dark.
Door VII of IX, level XLVIII to LIII. Dustwallow Marsh. An island the maps stopped mentioning. The prisoners did not stop.
Door VIII of IX, level LV to LX. Azshara. A furbolg city behind a gate no one opened. Its tunnels lead to the Barrow Deeps.
Door IX of IX, level LVIII to LX. Un'Goro Crater. Titan machinery, still warm. The last door before the road ends.
The Road, entire
We take them in order, at level, and we do not skip the walk.
Past the ninth door the road goes under the mountain. The Barrow Deeps open on the ninth of December.
Three refusals and one promise, cut into the stone before anything else was built.
Entropy is a casual guild for World of Warcraft: Forever. We run the new dungeons at level and the old ones for the story. We camp. We level slowly and together. When the raids open in December we will clear the ten-man on our own clock, and nobody will be asked to explain a log. Everything else is optional, including this paragraph.
Pillar I of III. Nine new ones on the way up, every old one on the way back. We run them at level, in order, with whoever is online.
Pillar II of III. The campfire is the point. Sit, get rested, trade a buff, tell the story about Deadmines again.
Pillar III of III. Ten-man Barrow Deeps when the gates open on the ninth of December. No parses, no benches, no homework.
The Inscription, entire
The stone does not get amended.
Everything else in this book will change, the dates first. What is cut here will not.
VIII souls, no spreadsheet. Each keeps a gate in the circle, and the spell calls on every one.
Champion I of VIII, Guild Master. Skyborne Mage, DPS. “Frost lasts longer than temper.”
Champion II of VIII, Officer. Orc Warrior, Tank. “I pull when the healer stops typing.”
Champion III of VIII, Officer. Undead Priest, Healer. “Your health bar is a conversation, not a command.”
Champion IV of VIII, Member. Tauren Shaman, Healer. “Totems are opinions with cooldowns.”
Champion V of VIII, Member. Troll Warlock, DPS. “The voidwalker and I have an understanding.”
Champion VI of VIII, Member. Skyborne Rogue, DPS. “You did not see me. We never met.”
Champion VII of VIII, Member. Orc Hunter, DPS. “The pet is the main. I am the pet's alt.”
Champion VIII of VIII, Member. Tauren Druid, DPS. “Bear when asked. Cat when not. Tree at the campfire.”
The Roll, entire
Every gate lit. Nobody sits on a bench.
The circle has no last stone. The ledger at the end of this book has a line left for whoever walks up to the fire of <Entropy> next.
No kills to count yet. Here is when there will be something to count, and what we intend to do about it.
12 Sep 2026. BlizzCon names the thing everyone had been calling Classic+.
17 Sep 2026. The gates crack open for testers. We start writing the roster.
4 Nov 2026. Launch, 3 PM Pacific. Entropy forms on day one and starts walking.
9 Dec 2026. Barrow Deeps at ten, Hyjal Summit at twenty, Onyxia at forty. We start with ten.
Circa Spring 2027. Two new raids, two new dungeons, a new zone, and a legendary to chase.
Circa Summer 2027. An iconic raid comes back rebuilt, beside another new one.
The calendar, run out
Past the summer the dates stop. The road does not.
Everything after the first raids is an estimate, Blizzard’s and ours. Either way the fire will be lit when it comes.
The book ends in a ledger. Every name in it walked up to the fire the way you are walking up now.
